Inspiration – 100 Day Blog Challenge – Day 23

Inspiration is Everywhere

What inspires you?  What keeps you going?  Do you seek a higher power or are there people in your immediate circle of influence who you inspire you?

I’m inspired by many different things, people and everything in between.  I love quotes – they keep me going. Many motivational speakers, authors and historic figures give me the added push I need.  Some include Brian Tracy, John Maxwell, Mark Victor Hansen, Jim Rohn, just to name a few.  Most important, my family, especially my children, inspire me to always strive for my best, even on those days when I don’t feel inspirational.

Fairly recently, I’ve been on the receiving end of inspiration, and I’m speechless.  Never did I think I influence others.  Seriously, it may sound ridiculous, crazy, naive…but, in all honesty, for a long time, I didn’t see myself as someone who inspires others.  I just see myself as a woman doing her best every day and creating an amazing life for my family.  I’m very modest, humble, and someone who does NOT like the spotlight.  I’m a behind-the-scenes type of gal…willing to let others shine.  So, I’m always amazed when I get notes from others or hear that I have made a difference in someone’s life.

It’s the truth.

For me, I look at myself as someone who’s plotting along, doing what I need to do to succeed.  I think the best way for me to explain is I don’t think I’m anyone special. I have a belief that we all possess a common sense trait that we should use.  I believe we all have the ability to succeed at whatever we desire, if we are willing to put in the work.

Work Works

I’m no stranger to hard work. I do my best to put my best foot forward at all times.  I’m a work in progress; willing to learn.  I love learning…learning from others who can help me be a better person.  Others who are willing to show me the way, without doing it for me.  I am willing to put in the time, the effort, the sacrifice, the ridicule.  I don’t or rather, I won’t take the easy way out.  I want to know that everything I’ve accomplished was because I put my all into it.  Done by my hard work.

I love to work with and be around others who aren’t strangers to hard work.  Those who are willing to get into the trenches with me, get a little dirty, and come out clean on the other end.  Those who are willing to delay the instant gratification for the long-term gratification.  I love to surround myself with positive, people.  The people who inspire ME to be a better person.

Make a Difference

It really doesn’t take much to inspire others.  Eye contact is so key.  Say hello to someone; hold the door open; let someone go ahead of you; pay for someone’s coffee…the possibilities are endless.  Yes, pay it forward.  Make a difference; inspire.

2013 – A Year of Change and Making a Difference

Wow!!!  What an amazing year 2012 was, huh?  How was it for you?  It was an adventure a minute.  I experienced joy, sorrow, anger, fear, growth, setbacks, and I wouldn’t change any of it. You see, it’s helped me to grow into a better person, and realize that no matter what’s thrown at me, I can handle it.

And it only gets better from here.

So, 2012 is almost to a close and 2013 is knocking on the door.  My question to you is, are YOU ready?

Are you ready to:

  • Make a change for the better?
  • Stop blaming others?
  • Take action?
  • Do something?!?!?!

I have seen (and heard) so many complain about how life sucks or they’re in a crappy job, relationship, everyone is succeeding and they’re still struggling, not making the money they want, tired of living from paycheck to paycheck, yada, yada, yada.

Here’s a wake up call, that may sound a little harsh, but definitely worth hearing – NO ONE IS GOING TO GIVE YOU THE LIFE YOU WANT!!!!  If you’re not happy with something, change it!!!  Stop crying over spilled milk, stop the complaining, get off the pity party train and DO SOMETHING!!!

In case you don’t know this already, I work from home, and I am so happy to be able to stay home, raise my kids, contribute financially, help others along the way, work with those I CHOOSE to and continue to make a difference in people’s lives.  Now, don’t get me wrong, this is WORK…HARD WORK.  Nothing was handed to me on a silver platter, no one came along and said, “Hey, D, I know you’re not happy financially, personally, spiritually.  Here, let me fix it for you.”  Absolutely not!!!  I made the decision to go after the life I want.  My goals, my dreams, my nest egg, my success.

Every day I wake up and put in the time to create my dream life.  Some days are better than others, many times I fail, get stood up, told I’m wasting my time and should go out and get a “real job.”  If by “real job” you mean having someone else tell ME when I can eat, sleep, see my kids, determine my worth, when to take vacation, when to pee, when to breathe…thanks, but no thanks.  I’ve been there, done that, had my fill and won’t go back.  I’m in charge of my life – I determine my net worth, I determine who I work with, when I work, how long I work and how much I get paid, and let me tell you, it’s the best feeling ever!!!  For every setback, it’s one step closer to me reaching my goals.  No one is going to stop me.

So, what are YOU waiting for?

You put in 20-40+ hours a week for 50-52 weeks fulfilling someone else’s dreams.  Why?  Here’s why.  The promise is clear that when you put in so much effort every week, regardless of how much time you put in (most times more than your boss) at the end of the week, you get a check that doesn’t reflect your worth.  It’s almost second nature and accepted.  I’m here to tell you that if you put in that same amount of effort for a minimum of 5-10 hours/week working from home, you will create that dream life you seek.  I’m doing it, many members of my team are doing it, and we continue to help others every day do the same thing.

Why not you?  Why not NOW?

What’s the worst that can happen?  What are you afraid of?  What have you got to lose?  I’m here to tell you that you are worth more, you deserve more and we would love to help make that happen.  Knowledge is power, and all I ask is you seek the knowledge to make an informed decision.

I’ve partnered with a recession-proof company that specializes in:

  • Bridging the gap between finances in a down economy
  • Helping Moms and Dads stay home
  • Helping professionals earn additional income during slow months
  • Educating families on making their homes safer
  • Creating a reliable, supplemental income
  • Provide a solid Plan B
  • Help you create time freedom
  • And so much more

I am a wellness promoter and secondary income consultant.

I partner with others to help them open up wholesale accounts for a manufacturer; we set up a customer base that pays us both forever on those accounts because our customers maintain a monthly 95% reorder.  Would you like to sit down and take a serious look at this and see if you want to be one of my partners?

What have you got to lose?

I encourage you to take that first step in making 2013 your year of change.  That first step is always the hardest, but, once you make that decision, everything else will fall into place.  I’m excited about what I do.  I love waking up every morning and going to work down the hall.  I love helping others create their dream life and that can happen for you, too.  Get off that vicious cycle, reach out and learn more.  When you are ready to get started, please email me.  I’d love to hear from you; I’d love to help you.  I’m going to the mountaintop, others have come on board, and would love for you to take this exciting journey with us.  Are you coming?

Here’s to a great 2013.  I’ll see you at the top.
