My Planner, My Life

For those who knew me during college, my title post has strong validity.  Everywhere I went, my Franklin Planner was on me all the time.  It was practically attached to my arm.  I had EVERYTHING in that planner, it was essentially my life, and I guarded that planner as if my life, (and the fate of the world) depended on it.  While pledging, the nickname I was given was “Rolodex” and it fit me perfectly.  (This name still has meaning for me even today.)  I guarded that book with my life – NO ONE was getting in that bad boy.  I would almost bet that my planner was the talk of the UC back then.

I found that having a planner helped keep me organized. I knew what I was doing, where I was going and what I had to do to get there.  Somewhere along my journey, my planner ended up on the back burner, and something always seemed missing.  So yesterday, I made the decision to get my life organized once again.  I ordered another Franklin Planner, and I can’t wait for it to get here.  Lord knows I need some help getting my life back in order.

I know the planner itself doesn’t MAKE me organized, but it definitely helps.  I can almost guarantee that there will be subtle changes once I start getting my life in order once again.  The next couple of weeks are going to be like a kid waiting for Christmas morning around here.

We will be together again real soon, Franklin Planner :o)

Until next time, be well.
